Steve joined the Allstate team in May of 2024. His responsibilities include a mix of field work, such as nuclear moisture/density tests, concrete tests, drilling/logging, surveying & drone mapping. He grew up on a farm north of Elk Point, SD, served as a USMC Infantry Assaultman for 6 years, and then attended and graduated from Missouri S & T with a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering in 2024. Steve previously spent a year interning with the DNR as a Dam Safety Engineer, inspecting & regulating the registered dams of Missouri. Prior to that, he spent a summer working with WashU & Rice University carrying out research in rock deformation on the Bishop Tuff.
