As a Senior Civil Engineer at Allstate Consultants, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to a wide range of civil engineering projects. The position involves a mix of municipal engineering tasks including water and wastewater infrastructure design.
Responsibilities:
- Engineering Design and Analysis:
- Plan and design municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, storage facilities, and related systems
- Perform engineering analyses and calculations for hydraulic modeling, process design, system capacity, and regulatory compliance
- Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Develop design documents in accordance with applicable municipal, state, and federal standards and regulations
- Project Coordination and Support:
- Serve as Project Manager for municipal water and wastewater projects from project initiation through construction completion.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans while monitoring project progress, profitability, and client satisfaction.

- Mentor and develop junior engineering staff while helping establish and grow Allstate’s water and wastewater practice.
- Represent the firm at client meetings, public meetings, conferences, and professional organizations to strengthen the firm’s presence and reputation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in water and wastewater design
- Registered Professional Engineer in Missouri
- Proficient in engineering software and tools, with a demonstrated willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
