As a Professional Land Surveyor at Allstate Consultants, you will be responsible for a diverse range of surveying tasks, spanning municipal engineering projects such as utilities, roadways, parks/trails, as well as private land development projects encompassing commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. The role will involve preparing boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, preliminary and final plats, easement descriptions, and displays.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform boundary and topographic surveys with a focus on precision and accuracy.
  • Execute ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys in accordance with industry standards.
  • Develop plats and easements for both municipal and private land development projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Utilize cutting-edge surveying technology and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in surveying software and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of state surveying standards.  
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Technician to join our team. As a Survey Technician, you will play a crucial role in our projects, working with our surveyors onsite and in the office on a wide variety of exciting engineering projects. 

Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate basic surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, levels) under supervision

· Collect field measurements and data accurately and efficiently

· Perform tasks such as boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys

· Maintain clear field notes and electronic data records

· Download and organize survey data for office processing

· Assist with basic CAD drafting and data processing as needed

· Help identify site conditions, obstacles, and discrepancies in the field

· Work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions

Qualifications:
  • · Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing an accurate and high-quality work product
  • · Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • · Effective communication skills to convey ideas and concepts clearly
