As a Professional Land Surveyor at Allstate Consultants, you will be responsible for a diverse range of surveying tasks, spanning municipal engineering projects such as utilities, roadways, parks/trails, as well as private land development projects encompassing commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Technician to join our team. As a Survey Technician, you will play a crucial role in our projects, working with our surveyors onsite and in the office on a wide variety of exciting engineering projects.
· Set up and operate basic surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, levels) under supervision
· Collect field measurements and data accurately and efficiently
· Perform tasks such as boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys
· Maintain clear field notes and electronic data records
· Download and organize survey data for office processing
· Assist with basic CAD drafting and data processing as needed
· Help identify site conditions, obstacles, and discrepancies in the field
· Work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions
