Bruce Dawson obtained a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.  Bruce joined Allstate in 2025, bringing 43 years of geotechnical and civil engineering experience serving public and private clients throughout central Missouri and the Ozarks.  Bruce serves owners, architects, design professionals, and professional contractors in the evaluation, design, development, and construction of industrial, commercial, and public buildings and infrastructure.

Mr. Dawson’s project experience ranges from small commercial site developments to some of the largest projects built in out-state Missouri.  He has provided pre-design through construction geotechnical services for projects including hospitals, commercial site developments, educational facilities, industrial process facilities, large correctional facilities, wastewater treatment systems, multi-level parking structures, streets, utilities, airports, water towers, and communications towers.  His construction monitoring experience includes deep and shallow foundation systems, engineered fill construction, concrete and masonry quality assurance, and structural connection quality assurance.  Mr. Dawson has routinely provided geotechnical engineering services in the analysis and evaluation of foundations, floor slabs, pavements, retaining walls and slopes; in the design of large, controlled rock fills, geosynthetic reinforced subgrades, embankments, retaining systems, and excavation retention systems; and in the design of site improvements and infrastructure for commercial developments and public facilities.
