NCMRWC Water Treatment Plant Improvements

Ncmrwc

Allstate has worked with the North Central Regional Water Commission (NCMRWC) since its formation in 2001. Allstate completed the first phase of rehabilitation at the NCMRWC water treatment plant (WTP), including the replacement of all pumps, chemical feed improvements, HVAC and electrical upgrades, addition of emergency power systems, and piping rehab and painting. This phase of work modernized the facility to increase its reliability and resiliency.

A second phase of improvements improved the treatment capabilities of the WTP by providing pretreatment of incoming water with powdered activated carbon and preoxidation. The pretreatment facility includes new basins, aeration, bulk chemical feed systems, and a new maintenance facility for WTP staff.  The project is funded through USDA-RD loans and grants and represents an over $6 million investment in the water treatment system.
