Missouri Highway Patrol Firing Range and Shoot House – Jefferson City, MO
Type of work: Structural Engineering,
Allstate was proud to partner with the Missouri Highway Patrol to bring their vision for a state-of-the-art training facility to life. Our team provided structural design for multiple components of the complex, including open-air pavilions, a secure classroom, and a dynamic tactical training building known as the “shoot house.”
The firing range features a total of 21 lanes for pistol, shotgun, and long-range rifle training. The classroom, housed within a pre-engineered metal building, includes a reinforced concrete vault to ensure secure firearm storage. The shoot house was built for realism and durability, incorporating ballistic-lined concrete walls, elevated steel catwalks for instructor oversight, and traditional wood trusses overhead.
