Brookfield Wastewater Treatment Plant

Brookfield

Allstate assisted the City of Brookfield through planning, design, and construction of a new wastewater treatment plant to replace two lagoon systems.  This addressed MDNR-imposed ammonia limits and disinfection requirements.  The facility includes a bar screen, grit removal, extended aeration basins, diffusers, UV disinfection, blowers, a belt filter press and sludge handling, SCADA, and a laboratory/administration building, as well as two regional pump stations and sewer lines.  The facility was awarded with Missouri Rural Water Association’s “Wastewater System of the Year” Award in 2019.
